The Montclair Online Canvas Orientation and New Student Welcome Event will provide you with a strong start to your online learning experience at Montclair State University.
- Canvas Orientation: This brief, 5 module course is completed in Canvas and is designed to help you prepare for online learning at Montclair State University. You will learn how to navigate within Canvas, engage with other new students, and learn about the support and resources at Montclair.
- New Online Undergraduate Student Welcome Event (Tuesday, August 20 at 7 p.m. EST)
New Online Graduate Student Welcome Event (Thursday, August 22 at 7 p.m. EST)
This synchronous orientation will be held over Zoom and will feature an introduction to the team at Montclair Online, a student panel, and a breakout session with your academic advisor/graduate program coordinator/director and peers. - Who should attend the Welcome Event?
New Online Program students (excluding School of Business master’s programs) - Attendance and registration is required.
You will receive an invitation to our Canvas Orientation and will complete the 5 required modules. New Online Program students will be invited to join Canvas via unreelangling.com email address. Please check your email for details for the New Online Student Welcome Event.
